Define the role beyond the job title
A clear mobilisation starts with the work itself: responsibilities, location, rotation, shift pattern, reporting line, hazards and minimum competencies. Generic job titles can hide material differences between assignments.
Align verification with risk
Credentials, experience, medical fitness and competency checks should reflect the actual exposure and responsibility of the role. Information must be handled confidentially and only shared with authorised stakeholders.
Prepare for the site, not just the journey
Documentation, induction, PPE, travel, accommodation and communication arrangements should be coordinated before deployment. A well-prepared worker arrives ready to contribute rather than resolve preventable administrative gaps.
